- Wichita based Airxcel Inc., a leading supplier to the Recreation Vehicle industry announces a broad OEM sales organization restructure enabling the Airxcel RV group appliance sales team to better serve customers as demand for Airxcel brands continue to grow.

Under the new structure, the appliance sales team will be separated into two dedicated groups: an RV Products team and a Suburban team, providing customers unparalleled service from dedicated product experts. The RV Products’ division sales team is responsible for the service, support and growth of the Coleman-Mach air conditioners and MaxxAir ventilation brands. Similarly, Suburban’s sales team is responsible for Suburban brands including all cooking appliances, furnaces and water heaters.

Steve Smith assumes the role of National OEM Sales Manager for the RV Products team responsible for servicing OEM customers and growing the Coleman-Mach and MaxxAir brands. Steve has been an Airxcel team member since 2013 and is an expert in air-conditioning and ventilation applications.

“Steve’s product expertise with all things cooling and ventilating will drive customer satisfaction. Providing top-notch service to our customers is our priority,” Troy Nusbaum, Vice President of OEM sales for Airxcel, Inc. said.

Prior to this role, Steve was Director of OEM Sales for RV Products and Suburban. Additionally, newly hired National OEM Sales Manager Jeff Cowan leads the Suburban products team.

“Jeff’s experience in the industry, and leadership abilities make him the perfect addition to our team. Suburban’s strategy has been to develop a broad family of dependable products and has recently added several new items to its gas appliance product line, specifically for cooking. I look forward to seeing how Jeff and his team can better serve the market with these new products,” Nusbaum said. Prior to joining Airxcel, Jeff held key management roles at Bearcat, Marine Fasteners and Lippert Components.

“This new organizational structure will provide a laser focused customer approach as we continue to expand our product portfolio,” Nussbaum said.
